Just got a clever bit of BS in the mail


A refinance offer where they seem to try to suggest, by lining it up with the costs and details of the new loan, that the refund of my existing escrow account (which they have kindly provided an estimated, or wild ass guess, value for) was essentially a discount provided by them.

We'll knock $100 bucks off the price if you hand us a $100 bill!
